"There was a lot of fuss about Sachin's 200th and final test match, mixed response from public. I personally feel the man who played for the nation for 24 years and being role model for generations certainly deserves that.
As always, he replied critics in his style - with display of vintage Tendulkar - cover drives, straight drive, leg glance, sweep in his last innings of 74(118). He certainly ended his carrier on a high note. That was a special knock for all of us. We wanted him to score yet another century ( Even in his last innings we had some expectations from him!) but Harsha Bhogle rightly said, 'a hundred 100s has such a lovely ring to it. try saying one hundred and one hundreds'
His farewell speech showed us how humble and down to earth he is, even after achieving everything in cricket anyone can think of. His speech touched billion hearts because it was coming straight off from Sachin's heart. He has always inspired and motivated us, now this speech has taken that to a different level.
We; all cricket lovers; have seen farewell of Ganguly, Kumble, Lara, Waugh, Warne, Murali, Ponting and many more. Due respect to all these legends, that last walk to the pitch by himself , yet again showed us that why Sachin is different. He is in his own league. That was, his way of thanking and respecting the 22 yards who made Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar - God of Cricket !"
